David is a second-generation Chinese-Peruvian American who grew up speaking Spanish, eating dim sum, and secretly doodling under the coffee table. He believes empathy is the foundation of strong teams and that creativity is most powerful when it’s collaborative and purpose-driven.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication from San Francisco State University while balancing roles as a multi-disciplinary creative, social media manager, and marketer at Ineffable Music Group. His work as an art director at Ready State led to impactful projects recognized by the Anthem Awards in 2023 and 2024.

Before stepping fully into creative leadership, David spent time coaching rock climbers, an experience that shaped his approach to growth, discipline, and trust. In 2023, he founded Steady Studio to connect with his community and help small businesses thrive, drawing on over 12 years of experience in creative production and social media marketing.

Outside of work, you’ll find David exploring the outdoors, training his dog Bobby, or chasing perfection in an oxtail stew recipe.
